Program Description


"Extending the Whitney walls to homebound seniors, the Museum's Teleconference Courses are an illustrated, multi-part lecture series organized through Meals on Wheels."

The Whitney Museum creates packets of art work from the museum’s exhibitions that are distributed to seniors with their Meals on Wheels deliveries.

Seniors can reference these art booklets as a visual aid during art lecture activities conducted over the telephone through The Whitney Museum's teleconference courses.

The museum also manages the:

Whitney Museum Senior Art Program - Senior art workshops providing the full experience of visiting museums, discussing artwork, and creating their own artistic forms of expression.
