“CARES SENIOR MOMENTS EARLY MEMORY LOSS” PROGRAM

Program Description


“Many individuals with early memory loss find it frustrating when they are not able to remember or do the tasks they were once able to do. “Senior Moments” offers a person, who is experiencing “forgetfulness” that is interfering with their daily living, a program with others who are experiencing the same challenges.”

The focus of the“CARES Senior Moments Early Memory Loss” Program is to maintain and enhance memory and brain function.

The memory program provides memory loss prevention activities such as recall, skill builders, challenging mind exercises and educational topics.

Benefits of the“CARES Senior Moments Early Memory Loss” Program include:

-Memory skills to cope with memory loss

-Socialization and a sense of humor

Community Aging and Retirement Services (CARES) provides services to meet the needs of older persons and their families in West Central Florida and is a Medicare/Medicaid certified home health agency.
