Program Description
The Medical equippment lending closet is a free service to residents of Arlington and operates on a volunteer basis.
Available medical equipment includes free Wheelchairs, Canes, Crutches, Raised toilet seats, Walkers, Bath benches, Bath and toilet bars, Portable commodes and more.
The closet obtains medical equipment through donations and fund raising. A large amount of funding is provided by the Arlington Heights Senior Center.
Medical equipment is loaned for free to elderly for three months or more if supplies are available.
