Program Description
“We want to know what you can do, not what you can’t. We believe people can live well with dementia, remaining connected to nature and enjoying a sense of adventure.”
-Dementia Adventure
The "Dementia Adventure" Program provides a safe and supportive way for people with dementia to continue being active and to explore.
Dementia Adventure activities are designed for individuals or small groups to take short breaks and holidays. For example, activites that those living with dementia and their carers can do together.
Activities range from people with dementia sailing, to taking holidays together to South Africa, to taking walks through gardens.
