Program Description
The "Senior Vision Services Employment Placement" Program provides employment assistance to blind and visually impaired seniors to prepare and search for employment.
Employment assistance is available to blind and visually impaired seniors for resume writing, interviewing skills, computer skills, networking, and communication skills.
The ACCESS-Tech Center is available for elderly and others with vision loss to use computers with specialized software.
The "Association for Vision Rehabilitation and Employment" also provides the following services needed to attain or maintain independence in all areas of life:
-Counseling
-Support Groups
-Skills training
-Employment counseling
-Special adaptive devices
-Certified Vision Rehabilitation Therapists
