"AGE OF CREATIVITY"
The Baring Foundation.
United Kingdom
Program Description
"Sometimes this will be about continuing a lifelong interest in or even career in the arts, for others older age may represent the first opportunity to develop creative pursuits. We are passionate about the impact that involvement and participation in the arts can bring towards improving wellbeing, physical health along and reducing social isolation."
"By bringing this work together in one place we hope to make it more accessible to those in the wider ageing sector, to health & care professionals, to commissioners, to policy makers and ultimately that they can be inspired to use the site to engage with the community on sparking new projects."

Members of the community may visit the Age of Creativity website for inspirational ideas and guides to help implement creative opportunities for older adults.
The site also lists artistic related training seminars, workshops, conferences, job or volunteer roles, funding opportunities, commissions or submissions.
Senior activities are listed and geared to those working with older adults in settings such as nursing homes, adult day care, retirement homes etc., and should outline the level of participation required along with the intended impact and outcome of the project.
Listed activities for older adults include: music therapy for dementia, dancing, ballet, concerts, plays and much more.
