Program Description
Heart of the Valley Services helps the elderly by providing the following seniors services:
Free Yard Work Clean Up - volunteers help seniors by providing free lawn care, gardening and landscaping work including mowing lawns, pulling weeds, bush and hedge trimming, tending to flowers, raking, and general yard cleanup.
Free Home Repairs for Elderly - volunteers help seniors with general home repairs such as leaky faucets, squeaky doors, toilets that don't flush well, broken outdoor gates, and other light handyman services.
In-A-Pinch Service – volunteers help elderly with last minute needs such as rides to urgent doctor appointments, getting critical medications, sick pets, an urgent repair and more.
Free Transportation – for elderly to appointments, errands, social activities and more.
Free Pet Care – volunteers help take seniors and their pets to vet appointments, groomers, or boarding facilities.
