Program Description

"Affordable senior housing allows people to have enough money left over to pay for other necessities, such as groceries or medication. However, access to affordable senior living can be very challenging. An average wait time can last approximately three to five years, and some people may never be able to access these facilities."

Invisible People provides information on senior homelessness such as:

  • How Does Homelessness Impact Seniors?
  • Number of Homeless Seniors
  • Unique Challenges Homeless Seniors Face
  • How to Help Homeless Seniors
  • Solutions to Elderly Homelessness
  • Affordable Senior Housing
  • Help Homeless Seniors Through Advocacy
  • Contacting federal and state legislators

Invisible People features stories of homeless elderly through video interviews, posts the latest news about homelessness, provides information on homelesseness, and encourages the public to advocate for the homeless by contacting legislators.

Hanes for Good is a part of the Hanes Brand. Hanes for Good works with homeless shelters, organizations, community groups and individuals to help create awareness for those who are homeless or in transitional housing. Hanes partners with Invisible People to educate the public about homelessness.
