Program Description
"…we built this 'Home Away from Home,' a sanctuary of sorts for former volunteer firefighters. Our Home, set against the naturally beautiful backdrop of the Catskill Mountains in Hudson, NY, provides quality healthcare, rehabilitative therapy, daily social activities and special events."

Senior firefighters have their own room and privacy. Families are welcome to join them for a meal in the formal dining room with a fireplace. Activities, daily programs and special events are included.
The mission of the Firemen's Association of the State of New York is to provide quality nursing care to volunteer firefighters who served in New York State for one year or more in their lifetime.
