Program Description

“We also ensure our carers have regular visits and some of those visits are unannounced, where we will go to a client placement unannounced to observe the practice of that individual to ensure that the carer is delivering the best care they possibly can be.”
–Dominique Kent, Director of Operations The Good Care Group.

“We passionately believe that most people want to stay in their homes for as long as possible. Home is where your belongings, treasures, pets and memories are. Where the family is used to coming to visit and where your community can support you.”

“We specialize in building care plans around the needs of the individual, offering a holistic approach to care which addresses a person’s medical, emotional and social needs. Every carer we supply is employed exclusively by The Good Care Group and benefits from our industry-leading training program which extends far beyond the statutory requirements for care training.”

The Good Care Group provides older adults with the following:

Care needs assessment and plan– determining the medical, physical, emotional and social needs of the older adult along with a care plan and the cost.
Carer matching –match carers to older adults allowing seniors and their families to review profiles of carers and a meet and greet.
On-going support for families, older adults and carers.
Rigorous recruitment process of only 5% of carers who apply are successful, well- paid, trained and supported staff and carers who are rewarded for loyalty and performance.
Award-winning care - The Good Care Group was a finalist for Domiciliary care provider of the year at the Health Investor Awards and for of Care Innovator Award and the Dignity in Care Award at the Great British Care Awards.

Free live-in care or financial support may be available through the NHS to those older adults who qualify based on a needs assessment. An Attendance Allowance, Disability Living Allowance or Council Tax Discounts may also be available to help fund live-in care.
