"MATURE MENS GROUP - LGBT ELDERS OF COLOR" PROGRAM

Program Description

The "Mature Mens Group LGBT Elders of Color" is support group therapy for gay senior men to share their thoughts, fears, socialize and build new friendships in a non-threatening environment.

Guest speakers present a wide range of topics to the gay men's support group and gay themed feature films are also screened.

The gay men's support group therapy promotes mental health and may prevent elderly depression.

GRIOT Circle is an intergenerational culturally diverse community based organization serving the needs of the community of lesbians, gay men, bisexual and transgender elders of color over the age of fifty. Although Griot Circle's policies are exclusive, everyone is welcome.
