Faith Leaders and places of worship can provide elderly caregivers and the seniors whom they care for with:
-Advice regarding family issues.
-Discussion and an emotional connection.
-Caregiver resources which can dramatically reduce caregiver stress.
An elderly caregiver training presentation for congregations or places of worship is available from the Informed Eldercare Decisions website. The organization also provides similar training presentations to banks along with other financial institutions and professions who serve seniors.
The Elder Life Planning for Faith Based Communities Program can be presented by family caregivers who are members of faith based groups.
Informed Eldercare Decisions is a team of eldercare professionals that provides consulting services to caregivers of aging parents and disabled adults in Massachusetts.
