COMFORT KEEPERS INTERACTIVE CAREGIVING PROGRAM
Based out of Dayton, Ohio. Locations across the USA and Canada.
"As a Comfort Keeper you’ll do more than prepare lunch or dust the furniture or help a client get ready for the day. These are important, of course, but through our unique approach to in-home care, Interactive Caregiving, comfort Keepers find ways to actively engage clients in life. This could include cooking favorite recipes together, reminiscing over old photos, visiting friends or attending community events, continuing favorite hobbies, taking a walk, doing puzzles."
Comfort Keeper interactive elderly caregivers are matched to the personality and interests of each senior whom they care for.
Examples of activities that elderly caregivers and seniors engage in are:
-Taking neighborhood walks
-Work together on household chores
-Discussing current events or interests
The goal of the Comfort Keepers Interactive Caregiving Program is to provide a stimulating environment for seniors and a more holistic approach to elderly caregiving, physically, mentally, socially and emotionally.
As an organization Comfort Keepers focuses on senior mind, body, nutrition and safety.
