Program Description

“As graduate students in the field of aging, we often find ourselves so immersed in the theoretical and empirical content of our field, that the very subject of our interest older people becomes peripheral to our everyday work.”

-seniorsofcanada.org

Older adults featured in the project were interviewed engaging in activities that were an everyday part of their lives and at places they enjoyed.

The project aimed to capture and photograph older adults doing something they loved.

Photos and stories of participating seniors were displayed at a local photo-exhibit and can be found on the Seniors of Canada website and social media.
