Program Description
Residents of Del Webb senior living, retirement communities collectively volunteer more than three million hours each year.
The volunteer program is referred to as the Del Webbcorps.
Senior volunteers of Del Webb help to:
-Organize food drives
-Provide donations to military service men and women
-Assist abandoned pets and more
Some of the Del Webbcorps volunteer programs include:
Feed the Firemen in Phoenix - a dedicated group who donate their time, efforts and support toward the firemen and women of their community.
Monthly Friends of the USO in Dallas - a group offering supply drives to provide neck pillows for troops on the long flight from DFW to overseas deployments.
The Caring Crafters of Del Lago Tucson - provides sleeping bags for abandoned dogs and cats.
