Program Description

Mark Shuey an expert in tae kwon do and hapkido is the founder of Cane Masters and trains others to spread the "Cane-Fu" Program.

"Cane fighting or "Cane-Fu," is taught in assisted living facilities, senior centers as a way to prevent elder abuse as well as health clubs.

The self defense technique has several accredited locations and trainers and has been endorsed by several other martial-arts organizations.

Seniors are able to view the cane as a form of defense and abuse prevention rather than a crutch.

Cane-Fu can also serve as a part of an older adults fitness routine.
